Both teams had one win under their belt and KKR goes one up. Kolkata Knight Riders had won the toss and sent in the Punjab team to bat. It was tough going for them because they could put up 137 all out in 18.2 overs. Bhanuka Rajapaksa top scored with 31 – it included 3 sixers. Kagiso Rabada scored 25 runs. 5 of the batsmen could not reach double figures in their batting.
In reply, KKR made 141 for 4 in 14.3 overs. Andre Russel made 70 not out – he hit 8 sixers. Umesh Yadav took 4 wickets for 23 runs and was Player of the Match
