X-Files, Scully and Mulder to return on January 24th after a 13-year-break

The X-Files is set to return after a 13-year-break and the date of return is scheduled as January 24th. The six-episode miniseries will find Mulder and Scully back on the trail of extraterrestrial life with some old friends and recurring foes.
The roles of Mulder and Scully would be played by David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson respectively and, in the trailer released, it shows the FBI duo reunite with their longtime boss Walter Skinner, the FBI assistant director played by Mitch Pileggi.
This has been reported in rollingstone.com dated 29 September 2015.
The new X-Files brings the duo of Mulder and Scully to a post-Edward Snowden world where our every move, both physically and digitally, is under surveillance. Mulder warns – they police us and spy on us, tell us that makes us safer. We've never been in more danger.
Around him are images of drones and surveillance cameras – these reveal the changed scenario of today when none can be trusted. But, the preview succeeds in maintaining the secrecy – there is no clue about the miniseries' plot. Of course, there appears to be a flashback sequence where military men encounter something otherworldly.
