Tom Cruise holds on for dear life in ‘Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation’

Tom Cruise and his mission impossible movies appear to be inseparable – and, in his latest Rogue Nation, he can be seen dangling on the wing of an Airbus A400m for dear life. It was a stunt that he performed for the latest Mission Impossible film. He was holding on to the wing by his fingertips.
This has been reported in news.sky.com dated 26 July 2015.
Tom Cruise loves to do his own stunts and, in this case, he had to clutch the side of an Airbus A400M as it was moving at 185mph – it was not quite what he was expected. In fact, it took every ounce of his strength to complete. The stunt scene was filmed at RAF Wittering in Lincolnshire and it involved number of rewrites before it was approved by Airbus.
Of course, he was wearing a harness under his suit for safety and, if he had lost his grip, he would have fallen several feet before it could have saved him. Moreover, he refused to wear protective goggles and, hence, was given special contact lenses to put over his eyes.
Major portions of the movie was filmed in London and there is a strong British cast supporting the Hollywood star. They include Simon Pegg and The White Queen's Rebecca Ferguson.
