Gulshan Grover reveals the secret to succeed in the film industry

Gulshan Grover has been typecast as a villain of Bollywood movies and had earned the name "Bad Man" – he played the role of villain in a number of movies of the 1980s and 1990s. However, he never worried about being slotted or typecast because he was courageous, unlike other "weak actors". He had realized early in his career that in order to succeed, one must have a recall value and must be able to stand out in a crowd.
This has been reported in ibnlive.com dated 1 August 2015.
In his opinion, actors are usually afraid to be typecast. But, if you are a good actor, strong and hardworking and have it in you, then success cannot elude you.
That is the gist of what he told the media at the music launch program of his upcoming film 'Chehre' – other stars in the film directed by Rohit Kaushik are Jackie Shroff, Manisha Koirala, Divya Dutta, Aarya Babbar among others.
Incidentally, in spite of being tagged as ‘Bad Man’, he has successfully played in different and positive roles in movies like 'I Am Kalam'.
