People undertake joy rides in theme parks in order to spend some time among others and enjoy their leisure. They expect a safe ride and are caught unawares when something untoward happens. This accident occurred when two trains smashed into each other at a Legoland theme park. It happened when one of the trains applied the brake sharply. The venue of the accident was the Legoland Park in Guenzburg, Germany. Two persons suffered serious injuries and were moved to hospital by air. Media reports quoted the Bavarian Red Cross saying a total of 16 people were taken to hospital. The roller-coaster known as the fire dragon was involved in the crash.
