Steve-O, the star of TV show Jackass, sentenced to 30-days jail and asked to reimburse $14000 to the city

Steve-O is the star of TV show Jackass and he has been sentenced to 30 days in jail for climbing a crane in Hollywood to protest against SeaWorld. His real legal name is Stephen Glover and he pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges against him of trespassing and illegal use of fireworks.

He was also sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to reimburse the city nearly $14,000 for its emergency response to the 9 August stunt when the 41-year-old had climbed up at least 100ft on a crane overlooking Hollywood's famed Sunset Boulevard to protest against SeaWorld, the aquatic theme park.
It seems on reaching near the top, he inflated a large killer whale balloon emblazoned with the words "SeaWorld Sucks" and lit fireworks. He later climbed down and was taken into custody. His demonstrations are in response to controversy over the 2013 documentary Blackfish, which had criticized SeaWorld's treatment of killer whales.
