Amyra Dastur is upbeat over her film “Kung Fu Yoga” with Jackie Chan


Actress Amyra Dastur is upbeat about her film “Kung Fu Yoga” as she has begun shooting for Chinese superstar Jackie Chan’s upcoming action-adventure movie which is being directed by Stanley Tong. It is a Chinese-Indian co-production of Taihe Entertainment, Shinework Media (China) and also stars Aarif Rahman and Sonu Sood.

Amyra Dastur, the 22-year-old “Mr X” actress will be portraying the role of a tough girl and will be seen doing a lot of action. She has yet to meet Jackie Chan but has completed a five-day stunt schedule in Beijing with the rest of the cast.
She now becomes the latest Indian export to international cinema and, Amyra admits that there is a fear lurking in her about her future in the foreign territory because she was very much into Bollywood and he South. She never expected to land a Hollywood project.
Her dates are packed since she will be shooting for this film and, simultaneously, a Bollywood project ‘Ticket to Bollywood’ and will have to shuttle between the two.
