Esha Deol makes mother Hema Malini proud – Esha’s ‘Care of Footpath 2’ in race for Oscar 2016


It will be a proud moment for Hema Malini when her daughter Esha Deol’s Kannada movie ‘Care of Footpath 2’ will be screened at the Oscars 2016 – it will be India’s second entry after Chaitanya Tamhane’s Marathi film ‘Court’. This has been announced India’s official entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category.
‘Care Of Footpath 2′ has been selected as a lateral entry for the 88th Academy Awards.

The movie is directed by Guinness World Record making director Kishan Shrikanth who is also known his screen name Master Kishan and is a sequel to the 2006 film ‘Care of Footpath’. This also features actress Avika Gor and Esha plays the role of Meera, a bold advocate fighting for justice.
‘Care of Footpath 2’ will premiere in LA, USA. In Oct. and will release in India in November as ‘Kill Them Young’.
