This has been reported in news.sky.com dated 23 September 2015.
Rollermania had taken over both at home and abroad with their hits like Bye Bye Baby and Shang-a-Lang. Les McKeown, Alan Longmuir and Stuart Wood from the original line-up have promised to provide ‘a very special Christmas present to all the fans that have kept the faith with the band over the years’ with a gig at Glasgow's Barrowland on 20 December.
The Shang-a-Lang singers have revealed that they are playing a reunion gig in Glasgow for the fans – and, also, to top up their bank accounts.
The band had risen to fame producing numerous top 10 hits, sell-outs tours and their own TV show. But, they split up in 1978 following bitter battles over money between band members and managers that has dragged on for decades.
