Actress Ruby Rose lands a role in ‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’


29-year-old actress Ruby Rose of ‘Orange is the New Black’ fame has managed to land a role in the upcoming ‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’. She is right now busy filming her role in the sixth and final instalment of the franchise in South Africa. The name of the character that she would portray in the movie is that of Abigail.

Ruby Rose would join Milla Jovovich, who is once again back as Alice while Ali Larter will yet again return as Claire Redfield and Wentworth Miller will be reprising his role as her on-screen brother, Chris.
Jovovich’s husband Paul WS Anderson is also as director and he would be using his own movie script, which picks up from where the events of the earlier 2012’s ‘Resident Evil: Retribution’ left off.
Incidentally, the Resident Evil franchise has been one of the most successful game-to-movie adaptations ever – it has grossed more than USD 915 million worldwide.
