Kangana says the film is a perfect watch Women's Day watch because it is about a strong woman.

Speaking to the media at the Mumbai airport as she was leaving for Delhi, she said that Julia is a strong female character and the story revolves around her. The movie has many elements from the British era since it is based in the 1940s when India was fighting for independence.
She will felicitate and interact with jawans at an army camp in Jammu for promoting the film.
The other stars in the film are Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor and Rangoon is due for release on February 24 before the International Women's Day which is on March 8.
