In her opinion, horror is a genre that is very exciting for some and for some it would be very scary - they might not watch it. But there are people who are horror fanatics and love watching this genre. They lap up whatever comes out. In fact, there is a dedicated following for horror.
Vidya also hopes that the horror genre in India will witness a change soon. She feels that while the country has a pool of talent, she is not sure if it’s being used well.
Incidentally, on the small screen, Vidya Malvade has been part of the first season of the stunt-based reality show “Khatron Ke Khiladi” and has now signed on for an episode of &TV’s “Darr Sabko Lagta Hai”.
