Making of ‘The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials’ is a physically demanding work

British actress Kaya Scodelario has admitted that the making of ‘The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials’ is the most physically demanding work that she has ever done. They had to film each running scene 17 times and, by the end of it all, the actors had either fallen apart or were in the best shape of our lives.
This has been reported in news.sky.com dated 11 September 2015.
Kaya Scodelario had shot to fame as Effy Stonem in the TV series Skins. In her opinion, the Maze Runner franchise should not be compared to other young adult dystopian films like The Hunger Games and Divergent.
Incidentally, The Scorch Trials is the second film in the franchise and is based on the dystopian fantasy series written by James Dashner. It is the story of a group of youngsters who have escaped a maze but are now being pursued by a corrupt organization called WCKD.
The cast is headed by Dylan O'Brien and Kaya Scodelario and directed by Wes Ball.
