Elijah Wood of ‘The Lord of the Rings’ fame is in India on a music tour


Hollywood star Elijah Wood, better known as Frodo Baggins of “The Lord of the Rings”, has landed in Mumbai on a music tour and took a ride in an auto rickshaw. He enjoyed the ride and compared it to a “Disney roller-coaster”.

He is on his debut India visit, and will conduct a three-city tour with Zach Cowie, with whom he makes the Wooden Wisdom DJ duo.
Apart from the auto-rickshaw ride, he has listed down a to-do list in which there is one where he wants to relish the flavors of authentic Bengali cuisine. He also has plans to soak in the nightlife of Mumbai and perform at the Trilogy Nightclub. Here, he would be mixing some Bollywood numbers to his set.
He also wants to explore the city subject to availability of time and explore the city, especially around Bandra. His host is Indian actor Ali Fazal. Wooden Wisdom plans to visit Delhi and Hyderabad as well while Wood wants to take in Agra and see the iconic Taj Mahal.
