Aamir Khan’s latest movie Lall Singh Chaddha flops – could be removed from cinemas

Normally Aamir Khan’s movies are super-duper hits. However, his latest movie Lall Singh Chaddha is not doing well. Its performance at the box office has been miserable. Its business at the ticket counter fell by 85 per cent. It started off with a bang earning Rs 460 million in its first four days but lost its tempo. It dropped to Rs 18.5 million to Rs 21.5 million on its fifth day. Its total collection was Rs 480 million. This has come as a terrible setback and it is possible that LSC could be removed from cinemas. Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha expected to be removed from cinemas six days after premiere. The total collection was less than Aamir Khan’s last release c which also failed to do good business.

The media says LSC has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. LSC is an official remake of Forrest Gump, a film of Tom Hanks. The budget of Aamir’s film was Rs 1.8 billion. However, it did not appeal to the Indian audience. There were campaigns to boycott it because it shows disrespect to Hindu sentiments and the Indian army. This is a bit strange for a Bollywood man who gave movies like Sarfarosh (1999), Lagaan (2001), 3 Idiots (2009), PK (2014) Dangal (2016) etcetera,
