This has been reported in indianexpress.com dated 27 October 2015.
Director Prawaal Raman’s fictional take on international criminal Charles Sobhraj – he has clarified that the character has not been romanticised. The story of the movie is about the perception of seven people whose lives changed after their meeting with Charles. They were his cell mates and who used to say he is a magician who disappears.
Charles Sobhraj has ultimately become a legend in a negative way and that has been depicted.
Randeep Hooda portrays Charles on screen. It seems there were rumors that the role would be done by Sanjay Dutt and later that Saif Ali Khan would play the role but, finally, it was Randeep Hooda.
Yes, there are bold scenes because it is about a bikini killer - Charles seduced the women but, the subject has not been treated in a sleazy way.
