Adele calls a halt to her tour, London will be her final stop


The Hello singer Adele plans to call a halt to her tour program with London. She has already done a total of 119 shows and the last four in London will make it 123. She has dropped hints that she may never tour again and is happy that her final shows will be in London.
The 29-year-old award-winning singer waved goodbye to a Wembley crowd and said that she had been on the road for 15 months and admitted that touring doesn't suit her because she is more of a homebody. She is now at the end of her run of gigs across the UK, Ireland, Europe, the US, Australia and New Zealand.

Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk set for release in India in July


Filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk was shot in France, Holland, Britain and Los Angeles ans is releasing in India in July. The film is about the battle in Dunkirk during WWII and features actors like Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, Cillian Murphy, Kenneth Branagh and One Direction star Harry Styles.

The story of the film is about the British evacuation of Allied soldiers from the beaches and harbour of the French city of Dunkirk during World War II in 1940. The film is narrated through the eyes of three soldiers. It is directed by Christopher Nolan.

Dhanush off to Belgium to shoot for his Hollywood debut film


Actor-filmmaker Dhanush has gone to Belgium to shoot his upcoming Hollywood debut film 'The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir'. He will be shooting there till the first week of August before returning back home. The film is based on the novel, “The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir Who Got Trapped In An IKEA Wardrobe” and it has collaborators from three continents. The film is an adventure-fantasy drama.

The first part of the film was shot in Mumbai in May. It is directed by Ken Scott and has music Nicolas Errera. There are two Hindi songs also in the film and it stars Uma Thurman, Baywatch actor Alexandra Daddoria and Laurent Lafitte. Berenice Bejo will also be joining the film. The remaining two parts of the film will be shot in Brussels, Paris and Rome.

Pamela Anderson to open a vegan restaurant in France


Pamela Anderson, the former "Baywatch" actress has been an animal rights activist for quite sometime and she plans to open a vegan restaurant in France which is her new adopted home. She has extended an invitation to Emmanuel Macron, the new President of France to dine there with his wife Brigitte Trogneux.

Her rumored beau, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is residing inside the Ecuadorian embassy in London and Pamela Anderson is trying to convince political leaders to help free Assange. She wants to discuss Assange with President Emmanuel Macron. She would like France to give asylum to Julian.
Her new restaurant is part of the country inn called Les Moulins de Ramatuelle and, the restaurant named La Table du Marché will open on July 4 for a limited period of fifty nights only.

Glastonbury Festival goers warned about possible delays to reach the venue


In view of terror attacks and increased security checks en-route, thorough checking on the road to Glastonbury Festival, the fans have been warned to expect delays to reach the venue. Extra car and bag searches would mean arriving at the site could be a slow process.
The police of Avon and Somerset have admitted that there is "no intelligence" to suggest a specific threat to the festival but, in the aftermath of the terror attacks in London and Manchester, the security measures have been enhanced.

The police have indicated that the policing style would look and feel slightly different. There would be high visibility officers present throughout the festival, mostly for reassurance. They will be dressed in black shirts and will be wearing protective vests and body cameras.
Ticket-holders have been advised to pack light, place luggage tags or ID on all bags and belongings and these should include their personal details like their name and mobile number.

Los Angeles pays tribute to Batman Adam West


Los Angeles had the Bat-Signal has light up the City Hall in honor of the late Caped Crusader Adam West who passed away at the age of 88 after suffering from leukaemia. His wife, Marcelle, was joined by their daughters, as well as actress Lee Meriwether (82) who played Catwoman, at the memorial event.
Actor Burt Ward, who played Batman's sidekick Robin in the hit 1960s TV series, also joined West's family and thousands of fans for the public memorial. Many of the had come on fancy dress.

The crowd cheered as LA's mayor and police chief lit up City Hall with the Bat-Signal. This is a spotlight of Batman's emblem that was employed to summon help from the superhero. The LA police chief Charlie Beck stood next to a red phone that resembled the one used by Gotham City's commissioner James Gordon to chat to Batman.
There were other actors like George Clooney, Christian Bale and Ben Affleck who portrayed Batman but none was as good as Adam West.

The Big Sick is Anupam Kher’s 500th film


Veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher has starred in an American film The Big Sick and it has been set for release in India on June 30. It will be Anupam Kher's 500th film and will be directed by Michael Showalter. The film is about a real life character of of Silicon Valley. He is Kumail Nanjiani and he has co-written it with his wife Emily V. Gordon. Nanjiani also features in the film.

The Big Sick is a romantic comedy and narrates the story of Pakistan-born aspiring comedian Kumail (Nanjiani), who connects with graduation student Emily (Kazan) after one of his standup sets. The movie incidentally is Anupam Kher’s 500th film and he had reportedly completed shooting in June last year.
It made its world premiere at the Premieres section at the 2017 Sundance film festival in January this year.

Suicide Squad 2 - the sequel - to start shooting in 2018


Suicide Squad released in August 2016 was a thriller superhero film and had a whole lot of superheroes like Will Smith. The heroes turned supervillains in the film to bring together a crazy set of characters on the screen under the direction of David Ayer.
It was a super hit movie and plans have been announced for a sequel. Joel Kinnaman has revealed that Suicide Squad 2 will likely go on the floors in 2018 and hit the screens in 2019.

Actor Joel Kinnaman (37) portrays the role of Rick Flag in Suicide Squad and he has revealed that the script of the sequel is currently being written. He would like director David Ayer to return, but that may not happen because of his other commitments.

Shooting started in Paris for Tom Cruise starrer 'Mission Impossible 6'


Hollywood star Tom Cruise is upbeat about the next episode of the Mission: Impossible series. Shooting for it has already started in Paris and, in his opinion, it is going to be wild. He starred in the ‘Mission: Impossible’ series since its first release in 1996 playing the role of Ethan Hunt.

Tom Cruise is a versatile actor and often does his own stunts. The film is scheduled for release in July 2018. Supergirl star Frederick Schmidt is likely to join the team and director Christopher McQuarrie is expected to return to the film as well.
Let us hope that 'Mission Impossible 6' maintains the tradition of suspense, thrills and action like previous ones.
